How do people start a blog? Like your first ever line to the world?
After weeks of playing with the idea here it is... the memoirs of Thomas Richard Smalley, Essex born & bred est. 1988 beer chugging football loving bad dancing 23 year old stuck in a dead end job living and partying (as often as I can) on the embankment of the Trent in Nottingham.
Ok so reasons I've started this blog:
1. I'm not ashamed to admit I fancy myself as an entertainer
2. I enjoy reading others blogs
3. I enjoy sharing my views on stuff
4. It's 1am on a Monday morning and I'm currently having a bout of insomnia
I have aims for this blog:
I don't want it to be boring
I don't want it to be repetitive but I do want to create some running themes (#nowplaying etc)
I don't want it to be a carbon copy of everyone else's blog
Ok so my first post is a total buzz killer but the 2nd one is coming straight after
As I sit watching the social network wondering what it must have been like to be Mark zuckerberg, I tend to spend alot of time wondering what it would be like to be someone else!!
I've always had a habbit of keeping stuff to myself, i deal with all the same issues everyone else does, and 9 times out of 10 I handle them the wrong way.
But **insert drum roll here** The positive spin on the post is I have some great friends, and over the past couple of days relised how ace one of them is, so thank you that person :)
